Yeah, there’s lots of good information over at handtops.com about the upcoming OQO handtop PC. We were reading along in our normal skim-and-scan ADD fashion and out little brains stopped on this image. A full-featured PDA computer that can serve as your primary PC? w00000000000000t!!

I’m to the point where I wish people wouldn’t post an article about the OQO unless it was really available to purchase. I don’t mean to be rude, I too was excited to see this device nearly 2 years ago but after seeing them miss deadline after deadline for 2 years … its hard to be excited anymore.
So, when its available to purchase please plaster your webpage with OQO stuff. Until then I hope to read about gadgets that really exist.

Why is gadgetmadness acting like this is their first encounter? SILLY GOOSES! 🙂 When it suports Efficeon, then I will be excited. Aah, and more than the memory crippling limit of 256. Blaa. Ever try running Xp on 256?… Crapola! Gimme 802.11G, and BT 2.0 , then its worth $2k. 🙂

You people should drink more on the weekends. That photo looked pretty cool to me after a few glasses of red wine. 😉 Seriously though, what I see in the picture is the raw potential for the future – your PDA as your desktop. The OQO 01 may be pricey and suck with tiny RAM, but the future potential of having a single device as your cellphone, office phone, desktop computer, camera, AND PDA will be the direction of the future (even if the future of the OQO is questionable.)
