We posted about MaxiVista’s multi-monitor software some time ago, and it appears that a free upgrade has been released with some exciting new features:
* Screen mirroning of one PC to another via any type of LAN
* Support for up to three PCs as additional displays of the Primary PC.
See the video at http://www.maxivista.com/extension.htm

* Improved performance especially on slow WLAN connections
This software is impressive to see in action – check it out!

I’ve got this running at work. Nice to have more than one secondary PC powered from the same server, but the new protocol is very CPU heavy. More info in a few days, hopefully.
