Top Five Reasons You Should Watch Jekyll Season 1 on DVD:
1) It’s written and created by Steven Moffat, who’s written such greatness as “Coupling” and “Doctor Who.”
2) It’s a brilliant modern re-telling of the “Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde” starring James Nesbitt, who’s absolutely amazing in the role of “Tom Jackman/Jekyll/Hyde”.
3) It’s got Michelle Ryan, who’s the new “Bionic Woman.”
4) It’s edgy, sexy, and absolutely bad ass to the very end.
5) What’s the matter, are ya scared Daddy? “Trust me… I’m a psychopath!”

You weren’t kidding, this show rocked! I must have caught the season finale though, because I thought it was a made for TV movie…not a series! It was two hours and seemed to be complete. I didn’t realize there were episodes leading up to it. I was satisfied, but now that I know there is more I MUST WATCH!
The dual-role played by James Nesbitt is brilliant! I haven’t seen conflicted acting like this in a long time. He deserves every Emmy possible for this role.
I told my wife that Jekyll was a BBC sci-fi series. She didn’t seem interested. Then I told her to take all the best elements of the 4400, House, and Dead Zone, and put them in a single show and you’d have Jekyll. You have the government conspiracy theory (4400), psychopathic powers (Dead Zone), and a wit worthy of a pulitzer (House) all within one show. NOW she wants to see it. 😀

Will there be a second season? I can’t seem to find any information about it!
