It’s one of the only computer games of which I know where you can invite all your friends together for a blow. Blow Away is an innovative approach to a game interface, but I don’t know that it will ever take off; the potential for light-headedness is just too great.

    Hey there,
Cheers for the link to our project.
    Just regarding your comment.
Being light-headed was one of our major concerns when designing the game. We tested it with 2 sets of school children. The 1st set, did become a little tired and dizzy, so afterwards we changed the way the sensors worked, and also made adjustments to the game design itself. With forced breaks, helpful tips, a more responsive sensor (how long you blow is more important than how hard you blow) and no time limit we hoped to solve the problem.
The 2nd class that tested it, after we made these changes, had no adverse side affects during testing.
I don’t think you’ll be seeing it down your local arcade any time soon, but it worked well, and people enjoyed played it & we had a great time making it!
    cheers!
