This excellent iPod hack comes to us from Russell P.:

iPod battery with the NewerTech’s 2100mAh battery they went from getting 4
hours of play time to 21 hours of play time. Cost was $39.99. Took them five minutes to change the battery.”

That’s all fine and dandy for the 1st/2nd gen users, but where are these 21 hour batteries for us newcomers with 3rd and 4th gens? and what about minis?
I really think I’d void my warranty (only a month or two left) in order to more than double play time…
