There is a huge craze for iPod accessories and the market is responding to demand; from speaker systems to $195 Gucci cases there are all sorts of gadgets out there to dress up your little musical buddy. Our favorite iPod accessory? The iPod Stun Gun Add-on, which doesn’t currently exist but that doesn’t seem to stop some of you from searching for it on Google. We’ve noticed quite a few hits from Google with the search phrase for “ipod” and “stun gun accessory” that land some of you here and we promise that if anyone ever makes one, we’ll be the first to review it (and try it out on ourselves.)
UPDATE: We found the source – the Jan ’05 issue of Maxim has a mock ad for fake accessories: an iPod Mixer, and iPod CD player, and the iProd Stun Gun. Now we challenge any iPod add-on manufacturer to go out and make one! Thanks Dee!

Well, the reason why I checked is because I saw one for sale at 375$ US in the Maxim magazine, I think its January 2005 edition…
I love the Hollywood/Fashion Mag mindset of fashion over funtion. Anyone who has ever seen a stun gun operate knows the electricity arcs back and forth between the contacts, not out into the air…
Just one more reason why Geeks should rule the world..
