Adventure was by far my favorite game for the Atari 2600. You just can’t beat the thrill of slaying a duck with a left arrow. I get chills just thinking about it.
Apparently I’m not the only one with a love for Atari Adventure. The fine folks at Atari Times have put together a Quake 3 level that recreates the Adventure experience, complete with giant yellow and green dragons.

It had to be old, since it’s a freaking Quake 3 map, but that’s not the point — I thought it was cool, so I posted about it. Lighten up, man.
Here, maybe a nice game of Adventure will help you find the inner peace you so desperately need: http://www.simmphonic.com/programming/flash.htm

Heh, and slashdot posts articles about news that is sometimes over a month old, so go figure. Personally I am waiting for PONG Quake.
