The problem with the little pet chicks children receive as pets is that they grow up into big angry chickens. The Sega Dream Chick responds to touch and movement, crying “pipitsu” when you stroke it’s head and flapping its wings when you pick it up, and it never grows up. (No word on what the Sega Dream Chick cries when you help it learn how to fly for the first time.)
