Something I’ve noticed is that with less time to actually play videogames, when I do have time I’m enjoying games that involve complete and utter destruction in a virtual world. “Jaws Unleased” is coming in January from Majesco and appears to be right up my alley: play as Jaws the shark and destroy boats, terrorize beaches, and swallow scuba divers whole. I’ve compiled my short list of violent destruction games below, if I’ve missed any good ones please comment and let me know. Click here if you want to see what happens to the scuba divers – it ain’t pretty! (I’m an adult and choose to play these games, but parents should check ESRB ratings before they buy games for their kiddos to play.)
Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories (PSP)
The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction (GameCube)
Destroy All Humans (Xbox)
Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (PS2)
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (Atari 2600)
Condemned: Criminal Origins (XB360)
