It’s great to fantasize about the new handheld systems being released by Sony and Nintendo. It’s even better to go to your local EBGames or EBX and actually put money down on one!
The Nintendo DS is listed in EB’s system as “Game Boy Dual Screen,” SKU #2418689 for $199.99. Ship date on the website is 11/29/2004, which is of course subejct to change. Minimum down for hardware is $25.
Update: The employees at EB may not know the SKU# for the DS. On the website it is 241868, but that won’t work in the store. The EB employee we called tried all the possible store SKU’s (add a number from 0-9 on the end of the web number) and it is 2418689. We prefer to pre-order from the store than from the website, only because we like to have someplace to camp out the night before a system is launched.
