The K-Byte Zipit is a linux-embedded device that connects to wireless hotspots and lets you IM your friends with no additional cost or service fees. The Zipit also comes in a variety of colors (white, blue, silver, and red) and connects to wireless networks with ease. Personally I think this is a brilliant idea, who wouldn’t want to be able to send instant messages from anywhere? Supports popular IM protocols like AIM, MSN, Yahoo, and more.
