Ever imagine what it would be like to have your own Max Headroom-style video character that would mimic everything you said? Ever since I saw my first blipvert in 1985 I’ve wanted to create a virtual video me, but it took twenty-five years for technology to catch up. This rendition of an evening news broadcast taking place during a zombie outbreak was made with TrashTalker! by Marcus Satellite. In less than an hour I was able to create this humorous satire about a newscaster turning undead on the air during a zombie outbreak. The video above was created 100% on the iPod Touch 4G by combining image and video effects from George A. Romero’s App of the Dead and editing the movie clips in iMovie for iPhone. It doesn’t take a lot of brains to see the creativity potential with an app like this, and the app developer is extremely responsive to feedback and support requests. Highly recommended!
