We’ve all been there before, sitting in the chair gazing aimlessly at the ceiling as the dentist probes our mouth with sharp objects. And I’m sure you’ve always wondered as to what he is doing and why he keeps stabbing you with that little sharp piece. Well an answer has arrived. Osaka-based organization Kenkyu Kaihatsu Kiko (try saying that 5 times fast) has developed an eyeglass like system that allows the patient to watch what the dentist is doing through a camera as well as the doctor to see around corners. Also with it is an eight button control that lets the patient communicate with the dentist via computerized voices (cause talking is hard to do with instruments in the mouth). So all in all it sounds pretty cool. I think it’d be even better with cable TV hooked up to it or maybe an xbox. Anyways there is yet to be a released photo so you’re stuck with my google images one.
