Correction: Side talkin’ is not required with this model.
The N-Gage QD has been officially launched by Nokia. It’s very similar to its predecessor, except that it is smaller, the MP3 player has been removed and the game slot and earpiece have been moved to more sensible locations; you can see the holes in the upper right-hand corner for the earpiece, so it is apparent that you can place it flat against your face while speaking. It still supports the same games, works with the original model and all remaining features are the same, as far as I can tell.
The biggest difference is really the list price: US$99 w/service contract, $199 without. That’s around $100 less than its big brother.
Since I was never a taco fan, I can’t really offer more information or opinions on this new model. I’ll leave that up to lunacy8m and krisjohn.
