Search engine mammoth Google has said they are working on a linux distro called internally “Goobuntu” as it is based on the Ubuntu distro (which itself is a Debian derivitive). Could this be the fabled GoogleOS people have been rumoring about for months? Google’s not saying but it’s obvious from the recent offering of GooglePack that they are interested in the desktop. Want to make your own Goobuntu logo (or whatever you want) then check out Logogle. If you would like to read more about Goobuntu, check out the article at The Register.
