Sometimes the simplest solution is the best one, take the Light On Call security adapter for instance. The obvious use for the Light On Call is to set it up on a bright light in your living room so that you can call your home from anywhere, and have that light turn on from 3 to 300 minutes.
The less obvious use we came up with would be to take a very loud electronic device that uses AC power and a wireless phone extender, and rig together a setup in someone’s bedroom closet that when called would scare the heck out of them. Now if only the Lights On Call could be used to turn a device on or off rather than on a timer, we could have a ton of fun with switching off Mom & Dad’s TV every time we call and hang up.
