I’m a huge ipod fan and for the iPod Video to finally make its debut I’m in nothing but awe. It is a beautiful piece of hardware that has a bigger screen at 320 x 240 pixels and is 31% thinnner than the current 20 gb model. It will be sold in 30 gb (75 hours of video)and 60 gb (150 hours of video)versions all in which support a 20 hour battery life, 260,000 color screen, h.264 and MPEG4 playback at 30 fps. The 30 gb version will retail at $299 and the 60 gb at $399. But wait that’s not all. They also released iTunes 6 that supports video podcasting and purchaseable music videos as well as TV shows! Wow Apple just crushed its competition once again. With these releases they have also debuted a thinner iMac with a built in isight and remote control. Very Nice Apple!
The New iPod
P.S……..it is the new basic iPod not iPod “video” goes on sale in one week. I now sit here seriously debating the purchase of one.
