Back in May we reported on how to pre-order a Nintendo DS from EBGames.com. I happened to be in EBGames last night (my second home) and asked if pre-orders were being accepted for the Sony PSP. The EBGames employee gave me a look like he was going to sell me watches from under a trenchcoat, and quietly said “Yeah…we are. You want on the list?” $20 dollars down and I was placed on the list for the first shipment in March of next year. Pehaps this is old hat but it’s news to us – there’s no mention of pre-order for the PSP on EBGames website. The final price that popped up on the register for the PSP? $199. Which is not really news either, although seeing it in green LED on a register really impressed us. Made it real, you know what I mean?
I saw that kid too at EBG. It was his last night working there and he took my money and gave me the reciept, but there are no pre-orders. So he took yours too. No wonder he gave us covert looks.
That would explain the handwritten receipt then…. 😉
I took your advice and went to The Electronic boutique in my area and paid $20 down for a Sony
PSP. The only problem I had was the receipt stated it was for a Mercury PSP. What does this mean?
