I never knew Fred while he was alive. From what I’m told he loved office supplies, perhaps a little too much. His torrid love-affair with Mrs. Stapler may have been the cause of his untimely undoing as Mr. Pen was also in love with her. Fred’s body was found on the receptionist’s desk; a hole punched right through his heart. Was he murdered or the victim of unrequited love? We may never know.
