I stumbled across a great new feature on the PS3 XMB that allows you to set Folding@Home to autostart after a period of inactivity. Here’s how to do it:
1) On the XMB, go to Network – Folding@Home icon but do not press [X] to start the application.
2) Press the Triangle button on your Playstation controller.
3) Go to Auto-Start and select either “After 10 Minutes,” “After 20 Minutes,” or “After 30 Minutes.”
That’s it – now after a period of inactivity on the XMB your Playstation3 will automatically run the F@H application.
