Banking that the average Joe doesn’t realize the speed of light is “C” (and that C2 is the speed of light squared) Coke’s marketing team has named the newest “new” Coke C2, which on Planet LowCarb-247 means 1/2 the sugar and calories. Apparently C2 tastes very much like real Coke without the artificial sweeteners, and CarbWire.com managed to get their shaky, carb-deprived hands on a couple of bottles to review. CarbWire predicts that C2 will be a great way to get others to start reducing their carbs; we predict it to be a runaway hit with astrophysicists everywhere.
Coca-Cola C2: You Can’t Always Get What You Want
I thought it was half of a block of C-4.
The idea behind this cola is that you’re at the soda fountain and you decide to mix 1/3 regular coke and 2/3 diet coke. I just don’t get it. If I’m going to waste 45 Calories, I’d rather go lab rat and drink 45 Pepsi Ones.
It doesn’t takse like real Coke. I live in Japan, and it’s already out here. Let me repeat: NOT COKE-Y! I plan on doing a full review of it on my site in the next day or two… more depth on the taste of it then.
Yeah, but in Japan, Coke Light doesn’t taste quite like the Diet Coke here in the U.S. I’ve had first-hand experience with Diet Coke (or Coke Light) in Sweden, Australia, Singapore and Japan, and they’re not all the same. It seems that every region has a different taste, either because of different formulations or different water/syrup ratio or whatever.
that’s a good point… but regular Coke taste like regular Coke. and if C2 is supposed to taste like that… they didn’t succeed.
We get Coke C2 down here in Alabama and I must say that it tastes a lot like regular Coke imo. I cannot stand drinking diet drinks and Diet Dr. Pepper does not taste like regular Dr. Pepper. With that said I have no problems drinking C2.
