While the Army is not going so far as to scream “MANBEARPIG!” they are giving their two cents about global warming, stating that the sun and not man are to blame for the massive climate changes going on:
In the March, 2008 issue of Physics Today, West, the chief scientist of the Army Research Office’s mathematical and information science directorate, wrote that “the Sun’s turbulent dynamics” are linked with the Earth’s complex ecosystem. These connections are what is heating up the planet. “The Sun could account for as much as 69 percent of the increase in Earth’s average temperature,” West noted.
This goes against everything we’ve been conditioned to think about global warming, and is an interesting position to take. However other publications have stated the very same thing – other worlds in our solar system are heating up too, not just ours. We’re not suggesting you stop recycling or going green or anything like that, only that maybe we aren’t totally to blame for all the crazy climate change. Now if you’ll excuse us, we’re off to see our therapist to say “I told you so!”

Global Warming and Cooling is Nature Made, (Not man made)
Not only the Sun, but its changing position in the Milky Way Galaxy is responsible for warming and cooling. Every 12,000 years (~11,650yrs) the Solar System’s Solstice Sun (this time the Winter Solstice – December 21, 2012) aligns with the Galactic Center’s Super Massive Black Hole – represented by Gamma Cygnus X-3 (The ‘crossing’ of the Northern Cross star constellation / NASA !!!) star.
Not only Global Warming is over (~0.7 Celsius cooling in 2007), but the lack of sunspots warn us of an approaching Ice Age! But it is not a ‘mini ice age’, but the beginning of the about 116,500 year long Milankovitch Ice Age cycle. The Bad News is – that according to mythology and coded religious prophecies – the ‘SWITCH’ will come first with a Major Sunspot Eruption (as soon as July 2008 or ’09 when Venus /Hathor in the west) then a Magnetic Axis Shift and 3 & 1/2 year Darkness – followed by the ‘rebirth’ of the New Sun in December of 2012. Would I rather take the ‘human induced global warming’? You bet! But it is not how Nature works. It would be insane to think that in the last few million years of global warming and cooling – it was the humans who ‘acted’ in a timely fashion! Also, April 2007 Nature magazine article claims that the last 20 years the planet Mars warmed about the same as Earth. Would anybody explain ‘human pollution’ warming Mars. Or common sense and science should NOT enter the Global Warming debate?
