Glacier’s GX 1000 A Industrial Computer Will Blind You

The Glacier GX 1000 A uses four specially developed backlight inverters providing 1350 nits of brightness. Traditional laptops run at less than 300 nits and are impossible to read outside during the day. This sunlight-readable LCD allows you to see what's on the display even during a supernova. (Not that you'd have eyes left after that, or the GX1000 even.)

Don't get too excited though, because what's inside is an "800 MHz computer & standard I/O ports." This makes the GX 1000 great for industrial use, but not so great for playing Quake 4 while driving (which is what we envisioned using it for.) Glacier also has a nice little Linux-based USB recovery drive for Windows XP that's worth taking a look at.
