Ah, vacation is over. This year Santa brought me a white 30GB iPod video for Christmas and I've managed to catch up on the Battlestar Galactica miniseries, Season One and Season 2.0. I'd originally watched the miniseries when it first aired, and then for one reason or another just never picked up watching. What a mistake that was - BSG is hands down one of my all time favorite television shows of all time. This isn't your father's Battlestar Galactica - this is an adult show that deals in sex, politics, heavy drama, suffering, and what it means to be human all set in a sci-fi universe. That's right, you don't have to be a sci-fi fan to love this show. So picture this - there I am at 30,000 feet watching the last episode of season one and *BOOM* the cliffhanger hits me, and hard. I literally jumped in my seat and thanked the heavens I had Season 2.0 loaded and ready to watch on my iPod - if I'd had to wait it would have driven me batty! I just finished Season 2.0 today and thankfully don't have to wait too long either this time, the continuation of Season 2.0 starts this Friday, January 6th at 9:00pm central. Even if you haven't seen a single episode do yourself a favor and watch BSG this Friday. It won't be hard for you to catch up and you'll enjoy the best "fracking" show on television, period.
