And so another commercially available robot is about to be making its way into consumer homes. Or at least for those who are willing to shell out $1800 for it. The Robofie, which is brought to you by none other than Japan, is a DIY robot kit. At 300 mm tall and weighing 1 Kg the robot has armor that can be painted to your liking. It is capable of running, kicking, climbing stairs, and throwing stuff. If I had a spare 1800 bucks I'd consider picking up this little robotic project.
