Well after all the waiting and delays the 2.00 firmware upgrade for the PSP has been released here in the United States. Everything seems to be the same featurewise. However it appears that the new US 2.00 upgrade's file is slightly larger and different then the Japanese one from a few weeks ago. That and the fact that the Japanese version has been recently changed brings up the question as to was there another hole found in their security and the delay was a result of them patching it up. But thats just a theory. For those of you who still have 1.5 I strongly advise you to think over the situation of upgrading. Upgrading will disable all homebrew applications and the chances of ever playing one till the 2.00 is cracked (if possible). I in many ways regret upgrading my PSP with the Japanese 2.00 when it came out. If you do upgrade you will get the new features of a browser, WPA-PSK TKIP, Mp4 and some more stuff.
