The Gizmondo handheld gaming console has sneakily stealthed into EBGames page, and is available for pre-order. A 400Mhz processor powers the little monster, as well as a 128-bit Nvidia graphics accelerator. Gizmondo also has a SIM slot as well as GPS, Windows Media Player 9, MPEG 4 video playback, Bluetooth and a built-in camera. To me it comes across as a N-Gage on steroids, but I am intrigued by the use of GPS in the games - "Colors" is a GTA-like gang war game that actually "marks" your territory in your city as you move about. If someone enters your turf, it's a brawl! Innovative uses of GPS may give the Gizmondo some chance of success, but having a launch title named "Sticky Balls" also gives it high marks in my book.
