DC Shoes, makers of performance skateboard footwear, has teamed up with Incase, creators of premium carrying solutions, to develop the Skatebag. This multi-functional backpack is designed to house and protect your PowerBook and iPod, as well as your skateboard. Really.
The Skatebag is extremely well designed and constructed, and probably the best and most functional laptop backpack we’ve seen for the 17 inch Apple G4 PowerBook. It also dances the strange line between girly girl and weird – personally, I don’t know anyone who is a boarder who owns a G4, or visa-versa. We’re willing to sacrifice fashion for function in this case; neon-orange insides and all, this backpack will protect your investment better than any other laptop bag we’ve shopped for. There’s also a nice compartment for your iPod with a slit for headphones to pass through, which is great cause you’re going to need something to drown out the bystanders who snicker at you as you pass by.

I really like this bag, it fits my 17″ MacBook Pro. If you don’t have a skateboard, the skateboard part works well to hold your sweater or jacket. Lots of room for a text book or notebooks. Compartments hold my cables and wires in place well. Bag is also very comfy.
