Siemens SK65 e-mail phone

August 03, 2004 at 12:59 PM in

Siemens has announced the SK65, the first phone that comes complete with 'proper' e-mail software. Thanks to Research In Motion's (RIM) built-in BlackBerry functionality, the SK65 allows full control of your POP3 and IMAP4 e-mail while on the move, as well as e-mail and information from Exchange and Lotus Domino servers. Whilst pitched squarely at the business market, the SK65 does support Java-based games, MPEG 4 and H.263 video playback, animated screen icons, and 40-voice polyphonic MIDI ringtones. Who said business can't be fun? [via BIOS]

Me likey muchly. If only they made it a bit narrower, then they could make it shorter without compromising the usability of the keyboard. If you know what I mean. Because it's longer than the majority of phones.

But anyway. It's a good idea.
