The A5 sub-notebook/super-PDA tablet computer

The A5 looks like a contender for a Sony U50 alternative, although the design of the A5 isn't as impressive to us. Still, the A5 has a 800x600 8.4" TFT screen, which runs in landscape or portrait mode and is pen controlled. It also runs RISC OS Adjust within Windows XP using VirtualAcorn emulation (for all you hardcore RISC fans out there.) Other hardware specs: 40GB hard drive, 256MB DDR RAM, Detachable keyboard with touchpad, USB 2.0 ports, wired and wireless networking, video/still camera, 4-in-1 memory card reader (nice!) and a battery life up to 2.5 hours. The A5 displays granny smith apples in amazing detail and color as seen here, making this the hip hot sub-notebook for your granny (if her last name is Smith.)
