Yahoo! News reports that top Internet researchers attending the annual World Wide Web conference in New York this week are wondering what it will mean when individuals can recall nearly every waking moment digitally, and store those moments on the Internet.

We're shaking with fear and delight at the prospect, even more so than when we landed our Gmail accounts. We're proud to consider ourselves a "subversive underground of have-nots, who have somehow dodged incorporation into the massive databanks kept on individual citizens." So far, anyway.

Twenty Minutes in the Future, indeed.
