1.44MB Floppy? What's That?

Iomega has introduced their new USB device, the Floppy Plus 7-in-1 Card Reader. It has slots for all 6 flash media formats, plus a 1.44MB floppy drive in a single USB-attached housing. A card reader that can handle all your cards is cool, but the last time I touched a floppy was when I was cleaning out my desk drawers. At US$59.95, I don't see the point, but then again, I only have SD and SmartMedia to worry about.

Can't say I ever touched a 1.44" floppy - still have quite a few 3.5" floppies that hold 1.44 MB each, but none that have a diameter of 1.44 inches...
