Philips have announced a CD/MP3/WMA (why bother with WMA?) player that can run Java games. This has got to be a satire of the N-Gage, surely. I'd be interested if third-party software could gain access to the bitstream coming off the CD such that it could play Ogg Vorbis files. Or if there was a real product photo, not a render. Also since it isn't a burner like the RipGo!, why bother with a USB connection when it would make more sense to simply load java games off a CD-RW? Still, a product worth watching.
(Hey Birq, nice to have you back. I was starting to get lonely.)
