Michael's Minutes: Lindows.com

May 29, 2003 at 12:00 AM in

Michael Robertson, former CEO of MP3.com, started his own operating system company called Lindows.com because he wants people to have a choice when choosing an OS. Lindows is a re-packaged distro of Linux which is intended for the home user, and has seen moderate success so far.

"Michael's Minutes" is an editorial section where Michael expresses his views on the industry, what's new at Lindows.com, etc. This weeks' edition is titled "Gates at my Alma Mater." Think you know all about Microsoft? Read Michael's article, and then look at the documented references he cites about some of the tactics Microsoft uses to conduct "business."
