When Demo didn't mean Shareware

Sure 3Dmark2003 is visually impressive, but back in the days of the XT and AT, any video and audio effects were hard to program. These were the days of the Demo Scene. If you knew it you should remember groups like Future Crew or artists like U4IA. Thing is, putting together a PC capable of playing those old demos is actually very difficult. Just try finding a Gravis Ultrasound. Well, a group of people have formed a project team specifically to get those old demos running how they should, and recording them to DVD. They've already released a collection of PC demos (which is superb) and they're working on an Amiga collection. If you want one, put your name on their mailing list. Seriously, it's how they work out how many to print.
