What’s In The Box

  • Apple iPad Keyboard Dock
  • Instructions
  • Warranty Information Card

Pros:

  • Heavy and well-constructed.
  • Like using a real keyboard.
  • iPad specific keys control brightness, volume, device lock, and media playback.
  • Connector for Apple USB cable and audio out.
  • Also works with iPod Touch models and iPhones!

Cons:

  • No horizontal tilt when docked.
  • No option for use in landscape mode.
  • Undocumented ‘Mystery Key’ on keyboard does nothing at all.

Conclusion

Apple products are known for their intelligent design, ease of use, and superior construction. We supposed ‘two out of three’ isn’t bad but we’d like to see the ability to tilt the iPad while docked as well as a way to tilt the iPad into landscape mode while still docked in the keyboard. If these limitations are a deal-breaker for you then look elsewhere, if not then you’ll be very satisfied using this keyboard with your Apple iPad.

Nice… it’s much like the regular keyboard dock, though.
