The hype surrounding Metal Gear Solid 4 is so thick you could cut it with a knife. And although we found the MGS4 Headset to disappoint when we reviewed it, we know that the game itself is going to be a perfect 10. One lucky individual who went into his local Wal-mart for socks managed to score a MGS4 bundle several days early, and unboxed it for the world to see:

We can’t help but be bummed that the MGS4 Bundle being sold here in the states isn’t slate grey like the one sold in Japan. For those of you with $700 in your pocket, the official MGS4 Slate Gray Playstation 3 can still be scored from Play-Asia. If money were no object this is the PS3 we’d buy in a heartbeat, as there’s no region protection to stop you from using this awesome Playstation3 in the US.
