We like to gravitate towards gadgets you can get your hands on right now, or at least pre-order. Sure, cameras that spin 360 degrees that don’t actually exist and holographic jumpsuits that make you invisible are cool, but you can’t have them now. (It’s all part of our ADD OCD “Instant Gratification” attitude.) Hey look, what’s that shiny thing over there?
Back to the point – the new PSP 2.0 (oddly named the “PSP 2000”) is now up for pre-order on Amazon. The new slimmer TV-outputting PSP carries the same price tag as the original and ships on September 10th. While we don’t anticipate a mad rush on this cool new PSP, it’s nice to see Sony upgrade the hardware without a price increase. Now just put a damn hard drive in the thing and PSP will be the awesome sauceness.
