The Black & Decker StormStation is just what you need in the event you lose power. The “Find Me” emergency room light automatically kicks on, and you can charge and power small devices with the built-in 25-watt power source via standard wall plug and 12-volt cigarette adapter. The StormStation also has a built-in rechargeable flashlight and AM/FM/TV1&2/Weather band tuners to get the latest news and weather information. To be honest I wasn’t expecting too much from this device, but it is surprisingly well-constructed and works exactly as advertised. I’m not sure if the StormStation didn’t sell as well as expected or what, but it’s marked down on Amazon from $168 to $61. For all the StormStation offers, this is a total steal in my opinion. (Just remember to keep him plugged in all the time so he’s charged and always ready for use.) Weighs 12.3 pounds and comes with a 2-year warranty from Black & Decker.
