PS3 Playstation3 Pre Orders Sell Out In Minutes?
Many of you know that GameStop and Electonics Boutique are the same company now. I went today to visit my favorite store manager at EBX, only to find the store was gone. A nearby GameStop confirmed they closed the store and some employees were absorbed, while others just left.
I was also told that Playstation3 pre-orders started AND ended yesterday. Apparently all the GameStop/EBX stores in six cities near me are full up on their pre-orders. I know this because I just called about a dozen of them.
This sucks, cause the store manager at the store that closed had me on his list to call when the PS3 pre-orders started. The camera photo above is from a local Target store PS3 display, and they aren’t taking pre-orders.
UPDATE: Kotaku confirms all 3600 GameStop stores filled their PS3 pre-orders already.
