Google is trying to be everything to everyone... and we like it!Google has done it again. As if we thought the midas touch had maybe finally started to fizzle. Are you kidding? Google is wowing us almost daily and recently in their pursuit to be everything to everyone, which we like of course because they do it so well, they are making getting and updating software as easy as logging into a Debian linux box and typing apt-get update, apt-get upgrade. Google Pack beta has begun and offers up some Google branded favorites as well as a 6 month subscription to Norton Antivirus 2005 Special Edition, Ad-Aware SE, Trillian, and many more. The cool thing is you can mix and match what you want to download and the installer will be custom designed to install just those programs! Google is proving yet again that they are more than capable of making the killer app and this time it will keep the killer app up to date! I give it 2 Google (wow that’s a lot) thumbs up!
