Tyco 1:6 Scale Batman Begins “Tumbler” Batmobile R/C Vehicle

“The Tumbler” from the movie “Batman Begins” is considered by some to be the ultimate Batmobile – I particularly liked how the origins of Batman’s gadgets were handled in the new film. Now thanks to Tyco, you can remote control your own Tumbler! This R/C car sports turbo engine sounds, headlights that light, as well as adjustable air brakes and dynamic working suspension. It’s rather large too (as the 1:6 scale mention would indicate) and measures 16.0 x 18.0 x 32.0. Just watch out if you go looking for this in the store – there is a smaller R/C version of this car that isn’t anywhere as cool as the big one.
My local Walmart had no clue about this item, so I’ve pre-ordered mine online. Stay tuned for a future review of this bad boy.

UPDATE: There is a smaller version of the Tumbler Batmobile from “Batman Begins” on Amazon.com that jumps, however I’ve not seen the big one offered anywhere else for sale. The 1:6 scale Tumbler is sold out on Walmart.com, and Walmart told me that they aren’t carrying it in the store yet. As soon as I find a place that sells them online, I will update this post again. That being said, I ordered one from the website before they went out of stock, and just picked it up at the store today. It’s staggeringly bigger than you can imagine – the box barely fit in the shopping cart. Expect a very fun review of this awesome RC car soon.
