Buy the PalmOne LifeDrive Mobile Manager PDA Palm on Amazon

PalmOne? I heard you were dead! It looks like the news of the death of the PDA has been greatly exaggerated, however, as the PalmOne LifeDrive Mobile Manager is the PDA redesigned. Someone at PalmOne figured out that most of us carry about small portable drives to store files, music, and backups on – why not integrate this functionality into a PDA, and make it wireless to boot? The product specs look mighty tasty:

- Quickly drag and drop files from your PC onto your LifeDrive mobile manager.
- Intel 416MHz XScale processor
- Portrait and landscape viewing
- 320×480 hi-resolution, color display
- LifeDrive smart file management

We’ll keep you updated on when this cool new PDA/drive combo unit can be preordered. (If you read the small print, you’ll see that May 18, 2005 is the day this item will first available at Amazon.) This one is high on my “must-have” list!
