I saw “The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy” last Friday, and had it been spectacular I might have been prompted to write a review. As it is, HHGTTG is an excellent effort from a first-time director, but the movie suffers in many areas. (Imagine what “The Lord of the Rings” films would have been like if given to an inexperienced director and you’ll catch my drift.) HHGTTG is worth seeing but at a matinee at best. Should a sequel be made, let’s hope a more experienced director is brought on for “The Restaurant at the End of the Universe.”
This flash animation, showcasing the second most intelligent species on Earth bidding mankind farewell in song, was one of my favorite moments. (For those not familiar, man is only the third most intelligent species.) Enjoy!
