I’ll be honest, I wouldn’t recommend this MP3 player to anyone – the reviews cite poor audio quality, poor file management, and an overall lack of features. However, it has a built in POP and SMTP client which allows you to send and receive email from anywhere (not wirelessly though, which means the unit has to be plugged into a PC to use the email client.)
An MP3 player with an embedded email client – great idea! Make this puppy wireless, keep it cheap, and you’d have a great way to receive email anywhere you could find a hotspot. Anyone out there have one of these? If so, we’d be curious to know how well the embedded email client works.
