TIMEs Gadget of the Week reviews the Apple iMac G5
TIME.com’s Gadget of the Week reviews the sleek and sexy new iMac G5 from Apple computer and declares it the “desktop replacement” replacement; outperforming a similarly equipped G4 laptop (obviously) but with a lower price tag and only slightly less as portable. The reviewer also finds the Mac-to-Mac upgrade software “frighteningly easy” at how quickly and efficiently it can transfer your settings and software from your old Mac to your new one.
