Super Secret Motorola A630

Super Secret Motorola A630
Cell phones are like MP3 players: You’ve seen one, you’ve seen them all. I’m typically not one to pass on pictures from undercover cell phone paparazzi, but this one by far is not a typical cell phone. Supposedly for Cingular technorati only, the Motorola A630 was seen at a super secret launch party for “real” journalists only (is Motorola discounting bloggers as not being journalists? Have you checked your buzz index lately Motorola?). The Motorola A630 is a welcomed sign that cell phone design is advancing beyond concepts brought to us by the MS SmartPhone concept factory. The A630 looks and handles like a typical camera phone on the outside. Open it up and watch people gather for an Ooh’s and Aah’s type of demonstration. The phone features a full qwerty keyboard, thumb-based navigation for thumb pilots, SD card slots, bluetooth for the hardcore, and a purdy 176 x 220 landscape screen.

This is the only time I’ve actually considered switching carriers just for the phone! Of course I’m sure someone, somewhere will figure out how to mod it to accept my T-Mobile SIM chip.
