Cyberspace Warriors
Israeli newspaper Haaretz has an interesting interview with Abraham Kandel, the head of a US-funded private institute in Florida that is producing the latest, greatest intelligence tools for the US government. He provides interesting insight into how cyber-intelligence has changed over the last few years, and if you read between the lines and pay attention to the substance of some of his non-answers, it sounds like the tools he’s developing dwarf Carnivore in terms of scope, sophistication and power. Too bad they don’t have a catchy nickname for it.
