The Young And The Mobile

The Young And The Mobile
Rupert Murdoch’s News Corporation (all of the Fox properties, TV Guide, just about every newspaper, etc) has launched a cell phone-based soap opera. A phone-only version of The Simpson’s is supposedly in the works, as are game shows, video on demand services and lots of other ways to separate you from your money.
The absolute best thing about the story is that ABC’s (Australian Broadcasting Corporation) version of the story is almost exactly the same except that they have the above image with a caption of “Mobile Phones.” That really sheds a lot of light on the story. Thanks, ABC!
