World-Wide Media eXchange: WWMX
The World-Wide Media eXchange (WWMX) is an an experimental research project run by the Interactive Visual Media Group at Microsoft Research. The WWMX is a centralized database of digital photos indexed by the geographic location where they were shot. There’s a web demo as well as a downloadable client that allows you to search for photographs in the database by their address & location.
